This policy explains what limited information FiveQA (Pty) Ltd ("FiveQA") collects when you visit fiveqa.co.za, why it is collected, and the choices you have. FiveQA is based in South Africa and handles personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
FiveQA runs a simple marketing website. There are no accounts, no online store, and no contact form that stores your details. The only information involved is anonymous website analytics, and only if you agree to cookies, plus whatever you choose to share when you book a call. FiveQA does not sell your information to anyone.
If you accept cookies on the banner, FiveQA uses Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, for example which pages are visited, roughly which country or city a visit comes from, the type of device and browser, and how visitors arrived, such as from a search engine or LinkedIn. This information is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally. If you decline, Google Analytics is not loaded and these cookies are not set. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer.
The Book a free consultation buttons take you to Google Calendar's appointment scheduling. If you book, the name, email address, and any details you enter there are collected through Google so that FiveQA can schedule and hold the meeting with you. That information is used only to arrange and conduct the call and any follow-up you ask for. It is not added to a marketing list.
The only non-essential cookies FiveQA uses are Google Analytics cookies, and only after you accept them. A small record of your cookie choice is stored in your browser so the banner does not keep reappearing. You can accept, decline, or clear cookies at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer or your own browser settings.
FiveQA relies on a few trusted providers to run the site and its tools: Webflow for website hosting, Google Analytics for website statistics, and Google Calendar for bookings. Because these are global services, your information may be processed on servers outside South Africa. Each provider maintains its own security and privacy safeguards.
Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings and is only ever viewed in aggregate. Booking and meeting details are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry or engagement, and then removed when no longer required.
Under POPIA you can ask what personal information FiveQA holds about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to its use, and withdraw your consent to analytics cookies at any time. To make any of these requests, reach out through the FiveQA LinkedIn profile or the booking link on the site, and FiveQA will respond as soon as reasonably possible.
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children under 18. FiveQA does not knowingly collect information from children.
FiveQA may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will appear on this page with a new last updated date.
